IN AN effort to rival against the supercar-laden Dubai Police’s fleet of vehicles, neighbouring Arab state Abu Dhabi has reportedly taken delivery of its very own Rolls Royce Phantom police car.
The hand-built British luxury saloon sports a two-tone white and burgundy red paint scheme in line with the Arab state’s own police livery.
However, just like the rivalling Dubai state police’s supercar fleet, the Abu Dhabi police not be using the Phantom for any actual crime prevention duties.
Instead, it will be used merely as a public relations tool, and is tasked mainly as a display in Abu Dhabi’s popular tourist hot spots.
With the high number of images surfacing online, it appears that there is a ‘competition’ between the Dubai and Abu Dhabi police force on who has the most impressive fleet.
