Medion has unveiled two new gaming PCs and a gaming notebook. Depending
on the configuration, the new devices should be able to to display the latest
games in up to 4K resolution (3,840 to 2,160 pixels) without any glitches.
The top model in the range is the Erazer X87001, which is fitted with
Intel's Core i9 series microprocessor, Nvidia's Geforce GTX-1080 graphics card
and up to 64 gigabytes (GB) of working memory.
A liquid cooling system should limit heat generation. The towering
device comes with an 840 watt power supply and costs €4,500.
Slightly smaller and cheaper is the Erazer X47011, which will be
available for 1,700 euros. It comes with a compact carry-bag with a handle,
Intel's Core-i7-7700 processor, a Geforce GTX-1070 graphics card with 8 GB of
video memory and 16 GB of working memory.
The Erazer X8757, with a metal exterior, contains Intel's Core-i7-HK
processor, a Geforce GTX-1070 graphics card with 8 GB of memory, a 512 GB PCIe
SSD and 32GB of working memory. The notebook is being sold for around €2,900. —
